PURPOSE: To surely communicate setting of an ID in a short time by remote control by eliminating the need for manual ID setting in each station in the system using a communication monitor controller. CONSTITUTION: The system consists of a front end station and plural stations, each station receives control information multiplexed on a main signal and sent from its preceding station and controls itself based on the control information and multiplexes the control information to be sent onto the main signal and sends the resulting signal to its succeeding station. In the communication system above, The front end station has an TD setting information transmission means to send control information for ID setting to its succeeding stations and each station is provided with an ID setting means to set an ID based on the control information for ID setting sent from its preceding station and with a control information relay means sending the control information received its preceding station to its succeeding station. |
