PURPOSE: To prevent a rotary polygon mirror from causing the whirling vibration, etc. CONSTITUTION: By the press spring 9, the rotary polygon mirror 8 is held in press contact with the cylindrical rotor 6 and attached thereto as one body. The stator 7 comprising the motor M1 in company with the rotor 6, is disposed inside the rotor 6 opposite to the inside surface thereof. The rotor 6 is provided with the annular balance groove 10 in the vicinity of the bottom end part and with the annular step 11 on the top end part, and the weights 10a and 11a is severally mounted thereon, consequently the dynamic unbalance both in the axial direction and the radial direction of the whole rotary body including the rotor 6 and the rotary polygon mirror 8 is severally eliminated. |
