PURPOSE: To solve the complication of a wiring by detecting the voltage of each module battery of a set battery connected in series, converting it into a digital signal followed by serial transmission and outputting. CONSTITUTION: The voltage between respective terminals of modules 101-124 is detected by a voltage detecting circuit 20, converted into a digital signal by a signal converting and transmitting circuit 21, and transmitted to an ECU 3 through serial transmission lines 4a, 4b. The circuit 21 contains a CPU, and also transmits various data stored in a ROM 23 to the ECU 3. Voltmeter units 201-224 are mounted on the respective side surfaces of the modules 101-124. The input terminals of each unit 201-224 are connected to both (+) and (-) terminals of the corresponding module to receive each voltage of the module. It is only the unit 201 to be connected through the transmission line 4a that is directly connected to the ECU 3, and the mutual connection of the units 202-224 is performed by only the transmission line 4b. |
