<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the release work at the time of the occurrence of jamming of a recording sheet by detecting the standing state to forcibly terminate the recording operation and releasing the carrying state in accordance with the opening operation. CONSTITUTION: If jamming of a printing form occurs by some factor, a user turns a keyboard 2 from the horizontal state for normal use to the approximately vertical state. Then, a sensor 11 which recognizes the horizontal state of the keyboard 2 discriminates that the keyboard 2 is not in the horizontal state and stops a printer. A first gear 12 is turned in the same direction synchronously with turning of the keyboard 2, and the turning force is transmitted to a second gear, and the pressurized contact of the printing form is automatically released by first and second printing form carrying rolls 16 and 17 which carry the printing form. AS the result, the user turns the keyboard 2 from back in the horizontal state to the approximately vertical state at the time of the occurrence of jamming of the printing form, and thereby, the printer is automatically stopped and a printing form pressuring contact mechanism is released.</p> |
