<p>PURPOSE: To detect a cable position without any contact and to achieve an easy handling. CONSTITUTION: The cable position detection device is provided with a plurality of light emitting elements 2 arranged in a direction vertical to an installation surface FL where a take-up device 4 is installed, a plurality of light reception elements 3 arranged opposing the light emitting elements 2 with the passage position of a cable 20 as the center, and a programmable controller 5 which is connected to the light reception element 3 and outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the height position of the cable 20 based on a detection signal from one light reception element 3 located at the lowest position of several light reception elements 3 where light from the light reception elements 2 is screened by the cable 20, thus improving the working efficiency and durability of a device itself and easily adjusting the cable position and maintaining the device.</p> |
