PURPOSE: To make a bill collection job in communication sales efficient and to improve the reliability by storing commodity sales data registered by external order data by membership codes in the order of registration so as to allow each order placing party to recognize automatically total price of all commodities ordered within a prescribed period. CONSTITUTION: A membership at home selects a desired commodity for purchase based on a catalogue or the like, operates an external ordering terminal to place order on the commodity and the order is tentatively stored in an order reception file 33d. Furthermore, the data are stored in a sales data storage area of the concerned membership in a membership file 33c as sales data of articles ordered by the membership. On the other hand, a manager responsible of management such as a shop manager reads membership file data whose payment date data are matched with date of next day from the membership file 33c. Then the monetary amounts of commodity sales data not billed are summed for each of concerned membership file data and a bill collection amount is automatically calculated and the amount is registered in a bill collection file 33e together with the membership code, name or the like and commodity sales data not billed yet. |
