PURPOSE: To synchronously output the image data obtained by decoding the JPEG data which are inputted in an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM). CONSTITUTION: A JPEG-I/F 241 inputs the JPEG data in an ATM and these inputted data are once stored in a page memory 242. Thereafter, the JPEG data are read out of the memory 242 in synchronism with the image formation timing and then decoded at a JPEG expansion part 243. The decoded JPEG data are sent to an image processing part via a bus selector 232, etc. |
