INFRARED WATER CONTENT MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE: To apply an infrared water content measuring instrument to a plurality of kinds of objects to be measured such as sludge with different mixture ratio only by calibration curve preparing work for one kind of object to be measured. CONSTITUTION: The received light output of an optical system 1 is subjected to signal processing by an analog processing part 2, absorbance is calculated by a digital processing part 3, and water content value is calculated based on a polynomial with the logarithmic value of absorbance as an independent variable. Display water content is adjusted by operating an operation part 4 so that the water content displayed on a display 33 becomes an actually measured water content. The water content value at the time of measurement is shifted with the adjusted difference as an amount of constant.
