PURPOSE: To provide a range finder capable of easily setting the range of distance making an operator unnecessary to measure a distance to a subject with the eye. CONSTITUTION: The range finder consists of a means for measuring a distance according to a first input and storing the data of a first distance in a first memory means 5 based on the measured result, a means for measuring a distance according to a second input and storing the data of a second distance in a second memory means 6 based on the measured result and a control means 1 for controlling a lens driving means 3 so as to be focused within a range restricted by the data of the first distance stored in the first memory means 5 and the data of the second distance stored in the second memory means 6. |
