PURPOSE: To provide an element material for a humidifier which is formed of nonwoven fabric made of an extrafine fiber. CONSTITUTION: An element material for a humidifier is formed of nonwoven fabric made of an extrafine fiber. Accordingly, water wettability is maintained for a long period, and humidifying amount can be stably held for a long period. Further, at the time of reoperating even after stopping, it can be operated for a long time without reducing the humidifying amount.
