PURPOSE: To attain efficient data transmission by using a channel discriminated not used by another station for transmission of succeeding packet data so as to avoid transmission error of data. CONSTITUTION: A data terminal equipment 7-1 is connected to a radio adaptor section 7-2 via an Ethernet interface or the like. A CPU 7-5 receives a carrier detection signal 7-10 from a radio section 7-7 and sends a channel switching signal 7-11 to conduct channel switching control. After the end of transmission of data of one packet, when a channel used for the transmission of succeeding packet is selected, one channel is selected among plural channels. Whether or not the channel selected by the selection means is used by other station is discriminated. This operation is repeated for a prescribed number of times and a channel discriminated not used by another station at first is used for transmission of succeeding packet data. |
