FIELD: fiber-optic coils. SUBSTANCE: in fiber-optic coils intended, for instance, for rotation speed transducers, the errors caused by axial and/or radial varying in time temperature gradients can be minimized or, in essence, eliminated due to the use of inverse quadrupoles in the transducer coil. One quadrupole is wound with winding configuration (+--+), and the next adjacent quadrupole is wound with winding configuration (-++-). This inverse construction of the quadrupole in essence prevents errors, depending on radial varying in time temperature gradient, and reduces errors, depending on axial varying in time temperature gradient. Errors, depending on axial varying in time temperature gradient can be in essence prevented by winding of an inverse octupole construction. Inverse octupole is wound with winding configuration (+--+-++--++-+--+). Alternative errors, depending on axial varying in time temperature gradient can be in essence prevented due to creation of extra lengths of the positive and negative leads, which are arranged in such a manner so as to prevent this error caused by axial varying in time temperature gradient. EFFECT: minimized or eliminated errors. |
