Design for oscillator network e.g. for alphabet recognition

An input field is used for entering the 'active' elements (e.g. letters which have to be recognised and are entered as external inputs) into the input units.The network itself consists of several units (1 to 7), the first four composing the feature extraction layer (FEL) with a certain pattern of oscillation of the same phase and other different patterns of differing phase and the second four composing the alphabet detection layer (ADL) of the neurone oscillators or oscillator network designed to recognise phase-synchronised alphabets. False alphabets are not activated because the phase is not synchronised.
