A thermal covering with passive solar energy use for heating or cooling a building or a hollow body is characterised by a flat element with a first main surface having an emissivity of less than 0.7 in a wavelength range of thermal radiation from 3 to 200 mu m and an absorption factor of more than 0.6 in a range of solar irradiation from 0.3 to 2.5 mu m. The second main surface of the flat element has emissivity of more than 0.6 in a wavelength range of thermal radiation from 3 to 200 mu m an absorption factor of less than 0.6 in a range of solar irradiation from 0.3 to 2.5 mu m. |
