The mechanism aligns the sheets at their side and/or leading edges, having a puller rail (4,5) sliding at right angles to the sheet travel direction in synchronism with the machine.Air passages (7) in the rail are open to the underside of the sheet to be aligned, and can be supplied with air jets parallel to the sheet underside. There can be two rails (4,5), each containing passages and moving in the same direction. Alternatively, the first rail can move at right angles to the travel direction (6), and the second obliquely in relation to it. |
