The trailer is convertible from the travelling mode to a sales mode with the largest possible roof surface. It has a stationary roof portion (22), to which are hinged side walls (28) and a front or a rear head flap (34) for extending the roof surface.The roof comprises extensible, upwards foldable roof corners suspended in guide rails (36) for longitudinal sliding, i.e. in a stationary guide rail and in a head flap guide rail (44) forming a continuous guideway. The stationary guide rail is secured to the side wall, while the head flap guide rail is hinged to the head flap.
