FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic clutch has female and male members with circular concentric projections and recesses at ends; projections of female part are received by recesses of male member forming working chamber filled with working fluid; clutch is also provided with accumulating chamber and control system; male member of clutch consists of two parts mounted for axial displacement. Clutch is provided with seals and springs mounted between parts of male and female members. Ports are provided between projections of male member which bring working chamber in communication with accumulating chamber located between parts. Clutch contains working fluid in form of magneto-rheological suspension. Clutch is provided with cooling fins. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. |
