The separation system has a number of oscillation channels (2) positioned adjacent one another, above one another and in series one after the other, with their oscillation controlled for transporting the separated waste individually to the discharge point.Pref. input sensors (71, 72) for monitoring the flow at the entry point, provide pulses which are fed to a data processing device (73) for controlling setting drives (63, 64, 65) and couplings (66) for increasing the spacing between successive acceleration bands allowing coarse separation of the waste.
