Fire control for automatic parking garage

The automatic parking system has a lift which moves the vehicles between the ground and the allotted parking slots on the different levels. The lift is fitted with fireproof covers (7) which can be unrolled from storage rolls and has fire fighting equipment on board.If the fire detection system in the storage spaces detects a burning vehicle, the empty lift moves to that side, identifies the burning vehicle and moves it into the lift. The fireproof covers are rolled over the sides of the lift and the vehicle is moved out of the parking system while the fire extinguishers in the lift deal with the fire. The powder extinguishers (1) are mounted on the roof of the lift. Smoke and flame detectors (8,9) are fitted inside the lift. The whole system is automatic and has a rapid response time.
