FIELD: use of solar energy for heating of various objects, conversion of solar energy to energies of other types, for instance, thermal energy. SUBSTANCE: the offered solar concentrator uses an optical collector and light-emitting diodes. The optical collector is a combination of truncated lenses-focons assembled in a pack secured on a frame. Sections of light-emitting diodes are sticked to the narrow end faces of the lenses-focons. The free ends of light-emitting diodes are assembled in a bundle. The bundle end face is polished. To obtain steam or hot water, the bundle end face is introduced in a heat exchanger made, for example, from kerographite, which, when heated up, will separate heat to the using equipment. The offered solar concentrator may find a wide application in different field. The use of the solar concentrator is most effective in mountains, deserts, space and in other fields, where no energy sources are available. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. |
