摘要 FIELD: tests of internal combustion engines and revealing knocking in spark-ignition internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: during operation of internal combustion engine at preset rotational speed, vibration signals, for example, vibrations of walls of cylinder block are recorded by means of sensor within preset range of time of working cycle; then these signals are filtered and actual magnitude of vibration signal parameter is determined, after which this actual magnitude is compared with standard magnitude to make decision on presence or absence of knocking in internal combustion engine; used as parameter of vibration signal is its average power for preset interval of time in working cycle; standard magnitude is determined as sum of magnitudes whose components are: magnitude characterizing the present minimum magnitude of average power of vibration signal and magnitude of dispersion of average power of vibration signal determined preliminarily during operation of engine at above-mentioned rotational speed when there is no knocking; standard magnitude is compared with actual magnitude of average power of vibration signal in working cycle. EFFECT: simplification of realization of method due to reduction of calculations at enhanced reliability of identification of knocking in internal combustion engine. 2 cl, 7 dwg
