The plate comprises a wave-shaped reinforcement (5) with sections (6,7) extending parallel to the plate surfaces (8,9). The reinforcement has first and second sections directed respective to the two plate surfaces, and a third section (10,11) which connects the first and second sections.The third section runs at an angle ( alpha ) to the plate surfaces. The side edge (3,4) is provided with a welt to which the reinforcement extends.
