1:2 Fe complex azo dyes (I) of 2 identical or different azo cpds. of formula (II) are claimed, where R1 is H, 2-4C alkanoylamino or 1-4C alkoxycarbonylamino; R2 and R3 are each H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4 C alkoxy, 2-4C alkanoylamino, 1-4C alkoxycarbonylamino, halogen, NO2 or SO3H; if (II) contain 2 naphthalene gps., R1 is a 2-4C alkanoylamino or 1-4C alkoxycarbonylamino. Also claimed are (i) mixts. of at least 2 cpds. (I); and (ii) prepn. of (I) by metallising (II) with an Fe salt.
