The novel intermediate compounds are of the formula II <IMAGE> (II) and of the formula VI, <IMAGE> (VI) as defined in the specification and claims. The intermediate compounds may be used to prepare herbicidal and plant growth regulating compounds of the formula I or salts thereof: he herbicides so obtained are particularly suitable for selectively controlling weeds. |
