FIELD: radio engineering, and namely, radio communication systems of metric wave band. SUBSTANCE: the meteor-radio communication system has a calling and answering stations. The calling station uses transmitting and receiving antenna elements, transmitting and receiving phase shifters, antenna system control device, transmitter, modulator, receiver, threshold device. The answering station uses transmitting and receiving elements, transmitting and receiving phase shifters, antenna system control device, transmitter, modulator, receiver, threshold device. The antenna control devices of both stations optimize the directivity patterns of the antenna systems for each meteor trail, thus increasing the lifetime of the latter. EFFECT: enhanced actual traffic capacity of meteor radio communication due to employment of antenna systems with controlled directivity pattern. |
