METHOD OF EXTRACTING OF CHOLESTEROL AND ITS METABOLITES FROM BIOLOGICAL TISSUES

Cholesterol esters are extracted from erythrocytes with help of dichlorethan and isopropyl spirit, which is followed by thin layer chromatography on silica-gel, treating chromatoplates with 0.5% sulphuric acid solution in a isopropyl spirit, preparing cholesterol ester specimen in a concentrated sulphuric acid for further spectrofluometric determining the cholesterol ester content. Concentration of cholesterol esters is determined, if it is0.005 mg/ml or more.
