The pump has a pair of flexible membranes (26,28) which are mechanically coupled together and attached to respective piston rods (66,68), positioned coaxially on opposite sides of a guide frame (64). The displacement spaces are each coupled to the suction connection (50) on one side and the pressure connection (60) on the other side, via respective non-return valves (46,48,52,54). The frame has at least one linear guide (84,86) for a seating (88) for a crankshaft bearing pin. Pref. the guides are supplied by circular rods fitting through respective bores (90,92) in the seating.
