Kinematic velocity joint for drives of motor vehicles

The transmission joint consists of an exterior part of a joint (1) having a cavity (6) and exterior rolling grooves (3) open towards the cavity which extend in a longitudinal direction, of an interior part (2) which is lodged inside the cavity and has interior rolling grooves (4) that extend in a longitudinal direction in-line with the external grooves. Balls (5) are fitted in these grooves (3,4) so that they can roll in them whilst transmitting the torque. A cage (8) is inserted between the joints (1,2) with openings (9) for the balls(5) and two passages (16) facing each other whose generating axis extends across the axis of the joint.The external joint (1) is provided with two radial slots (7) facing each other which have axes normal to the surface and coincident with the axes of the passages (16) of the cage (8). The inner joint is fitted with radial trunnions (10) on an axis coincident with those of the slots (7) and these are fixed to the two arms (20) of a fork end (11).
