Push-fit connector to connect plastics pipes to attachment

The connector includes a ring seal (32) which fits sealingly on a part of the pipe (58) behind the claw (22). This seal also fits sealingly on the attachment part (14) or on a part of the displaceable sleeve (36) which is sealed from the attachment by its own ring seal. The seal is set in a substantially non-deformable socket (28) of the displaceable sleeve.The sleeve can be in one piece with a fitted release ring (42) which has an inwardly pointing ring groove (28) to take the ring seal on the pipe, and outwardly pointing ring groove to take the ring seal on the attachment on a sleeve fixed in same.
