PURPOSE: To prevent peeling of a tape seal even if a heat treatment is carried out, relating to a switch in which the tape seal is disposed for the purpose of preventing washings, etc., from entering a device main body, and a method for manufacturing the switch. CONSTITUTION: In a switch in which an opening 29 is formed in the surface portion of a switch main body 24 and a tape seal 30 is bonded to the switch main body 24 to cover the opening 29, the pressure of a space portion 31 formed in the switch main body 24 is made negative, and the opening 29 is sealed while the tape seal 30 is forced into the opening 29 by the negative pressure. Therefore, the pressure within the space portion 31 is not increased even under heating, so peeling of the tape seal 30 can be surely prevented. |
