FIELD: production of stools with single central support. SUBSTANCE: furniture article has carrier surface, vertical support and upper supporting unit composed of horizontal crossed connecting strips which are engageable to define slot for receiving retaining member. Furniture article is further provided with lower supporting unit attached to lower part of vertical support. Each supporting unit is composed of crossed horizontal connecting strips with central projections, whose inner surfaces define slot. Ends of vertical support are used as retaining members for upper and lower supporting units. Upper end of support is provided with shaped groove extending along perimeter of support end, with groove height being equal to that of connecting strip. Furniture article may be used in toy furniture sets and may be made from wood, preferably hard wood, as well as from plastic or metal material. EFFECT: simplified production and assembling process, improved quality, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl |
