<p>A nail clipper comprising a housing (1) comprising a concave abutment surface having a curvature which substantially matches the curvature of a finger tip and wherein there is provided a slot (4), a clipper blade (5) which is transversely movable relative to the slot, and a lever mechanism (10, 11, 12) cooperating with the clipper blade (5) to effect displacement of the clipper blade (5) across the slot (4), a spring (14) cooperating with the lever mechanism and the clipper blade to retract the clipper blade (5), and a chamber (24) for collecting nail clippings, said chamber being connected with the slot (4) and being arranged at the back of the concave abutment surface.</p> |
