Throwing knife with finger operated rotation

The grip has a front section and an open cavity in its side for a finger of the thrower's hand. The cavity has a front support face for the finger during the actual throwing. The support is so arranged that the missile rotates round its axis, when thrown.Pref. the front surface of the cavity is formed by the support face, extending across the missile axis and bounded by protrusions locating the finger properly during throwing. The support face is located outside the centre axis of the missile. The protrusions may be prismatic and may be formed on a flat support face.
