FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: safety syringe has tubular cylindrical chamber 1, piston 2 which may be broken at location adjacent to weakened portion 9, and needle holder 6 connected to front part 4 of chamber 1. Holder 6 has hollow member attached to its rear surface. Hollow member is engageable with shank 13 axially extending beyond piston 2 for penetration into hollow member of holder 6 to move it aside, when piston 2 is withdrawn till needle 7 is completely within chamber 1. EFFECT: increased safety and enhanced reliability in operation. |
