A catalyst for olefin polymerization comprising: (A) a solid catalyst component comprising a titanium compound, a magnesium compound, and a halogen compound; (B) an organoaluminum compound; (C) a first organosilicon compound represented by formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1> represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R<2> represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom; R<3> and R<4> each represent a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R<2>, R<3>, and R<4> may be the same or different; and (D) a second organosilicon compound represented by formula (II): <CHEM> wherein R<5> represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R<6>, R<7>, and R<8>, which may be the same or different, each represent a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom.
