<p>The detection device comprises an alarm central controller (1) communicating with detectors (7a,7b) by means of two line wires (L1,L2). Addressing and synchronisation information signals are transmitted by the central controller (1) by applying polarity inversions to the voltage on the two line wires (L1,L2). The detectors respond to the central controller by increasing the current consumed (IL). A detector senses the address transmitted by the central controller and monitors the variation in current consumed, synchronising this information in order to determine to location of the source of any alarm signal.</p> |
