METHOD OF POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE PRODUCTION

FIELD: plastic masses production. SUBSTANCE: polymerization of tetraflioroethylene is exercised in liquid medium in presence of oxidating-reducing system. Preliminary deoxygenization of reactor is exercised by feeding of inert gas. Inner surface of reactor at least up to level of liquid medium is covered with temporal hydrophobic layer. Components of oxidating-reducing system are fed separately: salt of persulfuric acid is fed before or simultaneously with beginning of tetraflioroethylene feeding and salt of bivalent iron during tetraflioroethylene feeding, when pressure in reactor is rising over 10 % value of operation pressure during polymerization, that is 12 -14 atmospheres. EFFECT: increased productivity.
