FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing simultaneous estimation of mechanogram of antral region of the stomach and intestine (duodenal bulb, transition zone between duodenum and jejunum and proximal region of jejunum) recorded during two hours after taking standard food as well as evacuation function of the stomach and separation capability of the pyloric canal from the data received by processing X-ray picture of the stomach region. Three variants of mechanical operation of the stomach, duodenum and jejunum are considered: low, normal and high ones. The ratios relating the amounts of work done between the stomach and the duodenal bulb, between the duodenal bulb and the duodenum and jejunum transition zone, between the duodenum and jejunum transition zone and the proximal region of jejunum, where K= stomach antral region wave amplitude sum / duodenal bulb region wave amplitude sum; K= duodenal bulb region wave amplitude sum / Treitz ligament attachment region wave amplitude sum; K= Treitz ligament attachment region wave amplitude sum / jejunum proximal region wave amplitude sum.
