<p>The method entails arrangement of gyrometers having one at least mounted in an aircraft. The aircraft (A) is immobilised in a set position (P) on the ground (T). The angles of elevation, roll and heading of the immobilised aircraft (A) are determined. The latitude of the position (P) is determined. From the latitude and the angles of elevation, roll and heading, the rotational speed of the earth in a reference measure tied to the aircraft is calculated. The rotational speed of the earth in a reference measure tied to the aircraft is measured by means of the assembly of gyrometers. The calculated and measured earth rotational speeds are subtracted to obtain the estimated gyrometric bias.</p> |
