In the case of this marker for electrical terminal blocks, a base part (1) (which can be latched to the insulating material body of the terminal block) is integrally connected, such that it can move in a pivoting manner, via a film hinge (2) to a marking plate part (3) which, in the closed position, is folded up on to the base part (1) and is held detachably thereon by means of a latching connection (7, 8). Such a marker can be produced easily and with narrow construction and can be held reliably in the closed position in which it can also carry out a covering function with respect to the terminal block.
