PURPOSE:To reproduce only a desired part to be listened to through simple processing by providing a pointer means which indicates one optional address in a performance data storage means and a listening means which plays only a specific section before and after automatic performance data indicated by the pointer means. CONSTITUTION:The pointer means 6 can be moved to one optional address in the performance data storage means 34 through user's operation. The test listening means 14 is put in operation after the pointer means 6 is moved to the one optional address to play the specific section before and after the automatic performance data, indicated by the pointer means 6, automatically. Thus, the pointer means 6 is used to retrieve part of music and also used for editing such as the rewriting or additional writing of part of the music. Consequently, only a desired part can be reproduced through an easy operation. |
