Vehicle glazing pre-assembled with an elastomeric frame

Ready-to-install glazing is equipped with an elastomeric frame. The frame 8 is laid down exclusively on that edge of the glass which is opposite the sheet metal 2 of the opening without driving in the edge of the glazing 1. The frame 8 is bonded onto the glass. It comprises a groove 5 which allows the prefitted glazing 1 to be fixed mechanically into the opening.
