<p>An arbitrator of access to the MCA channel by several control units (4,5) with centralized arbitration processor interface receives access requests (HOLDSC,HOLDL) from the units (4,5), synchronizes them with an arbitration phase of the MCA channel, pre-arbitrates between the units (4,5) and presents on the MCA channel a priority code which corresponds to a priority assigned to the pre-arbitrated unit, partakes in the MCA channel arbitration with a local arbitration network (17) common to all the pre-arbitrated units (4,5), and if successful in the arbitration, grants selective access to the pre-arbitrated unit which comes out the winner from the arbitration. <IMAGE></p> |
