PURPOSE:To avoid crumbling by receiving earth pressure with an annular body while observing, visually with a transit, around excavation and earth removal done by auger to watch if an inserted tube is bent or not and, if bent, correcting it with an inner and outer loading sections. CONSTITUTION:A system comprises an excavator 2 provided with a hydraulic motor M capable of advancing and retracting by means of a hydraulic cylinder 7, a tube 4 attached to the pressure plate 3 of the excavator and to be driven into the ground for placing waterworks and sewage ducts, and an auger 5. The auger 5 is extended or retracted as required within a certain range by means of extending means. A spiral 14 connected to the auger 5 is attached to the outer circumference of an excavating head 12. A joining member 16 for engagement with an auger shaft 8 is provided on the inner end of the head 12. An annular body 20 is placed around a bit 15. A series of bearing-like portion is formed by connecting the tube 4 to the annular body 20 when the body 20 is located in front of the tube 4 to prevent crumbling. This prevents buildings nearby from sinking. |
