PURPOSE:To provide a novel microorganism production an alkali protease useful as a detergent enzyme suitable for Japanese laundry conditions in which the laundry is performed at room temperature. CONSTITUTION:Microorganisms comprise the group of (A) Bacillus SP-KSM-2001 (FERM P-9449) capable of producing alkali protease K-2001, (B) Bacillus SP- KSM-2002 (FERM P-9450) capable of producing alkali protease K-2002, (C) Bacillus SP-KSM-2003 (FERM P-9451) capable of producing alkali protease K-2003, and (D) Bacillus SP-KSM-2005 (FERM P-9453) capable of producing alkali protease K-2005. The microorganisms are obtained by culturing a soil sample collected in Haga district, Tochigi prefecture. |
