PURPOSE: To improve rolling efficiency and to obtain excellent magnetic properties. CONSTITUTION: At the time of subjecting a silicon-containing steel slab to heating up to 900-1450 deg.C and to hot roughing in a method for producing a grain oriented silicon steel sheet, the surface temp. of a slab before rolling, at the final stand of roughing and at a stand preceding it, is regulated to <=1300 deg.C and also the time between passes, between these stands, is regulated to <=30s, by which the recrystallization ratio of sheet bar is regulated to >=60%. |
