PURPOSE: To provide a fixing structure for a spring seat, capable of securing the sufficient strength without increasing the wall thickness of an outer cylinder by effectively distributing the supporting reaction of supporting protrusions in relation to eccentric load input by the coil spring reaction without deteriorating the peripheral strength of the outer cylinder by the protrusions partially extended and formed. CONSTITUTION: A lower spring seat 8 is fixed by fitting and locking an inner peripheral attaching part 8a between protrusions 1a, 1A, 1b, 1B on two upper and lower stages formed by extending three parts in the circumferential direction by bulge forming on the outer periphery of an outer cylinder 1. The lower supporting protrusion 1B is positioned on the center position offset direction side from the axial point O of the outer cylinder 1 in the lower spring seat 8, and the upper supporting protrusion 1A is so arranged as to be positioned on the opposite direction side to the center position offset direction from the axial point O of the outer cylinder in the lower spring seat 8. |
