摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. capable of sintering together with a relatively low-cost electrode material at a low sintering temp. by incorporating SiO2 , PbO and B2 O3 into a compsn. consisting essentially of BaO, Nd2 O3 , Bi2 O3 and TiO2 . CONSTITUTION: An aBaO-bNd2 O3 -cBi2 O3 -dTiO2 compsn. [a+b+c+d=1mol%, 0.8<=c<=6.3 and (a), (b+c) and (d) are within the range defined by a line connecting points P, Q, R and S in the diagram] is used as a base, 0.1-10.0wt.% SiO2 , 0.1-0.48wt.% PbO and 0.1-3.0wt.% B2 O3 are added to the compsn. and they are sintered. By this method a sintering temp. of 1,300-1,500 deg.C required to attain the optimum dielectric constant &epsi; so far can be reduced to 1,000-1,100 deg.C. A high dielectric constant &epsi;r and a high product of Q and (f) are ensured, the temp. coefft. &tau;f of resonance frequency is close to zero and the resultant compsn. can be sintered together with a low-cost internal electrode material having a low m.p.
