<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of sparks between a wire and conducting rings to execute uniform heating by using nonconductive disks for guiding rings and installing pressure contact rings respectively from the outer peripheries to the approach side conducting ring and the discharge side conducting ring at the time of heat treatment of the wire by a ring trans, system. CONSTITUTION: The wire W to be heated is let off from a coiler 5 and is made to travel in a Y1 direction while the wire is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the first conducting ring 11 consisting of the conductive metal on the approach side W1 , is rotated around the outer periphery of the guiding ring 15 consisting of a nonconductive material, is changed in direction to a Y2 direction, is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the second conducting ring 12 consisting of a conductive metal on a discharge side W2 and is discharged to a coiler 6. The wire W is heated by a shell type transformer 21 during this time. At this time, the outer peripheral parts of the first and second conducting rings 11, 12 with which the wire W comes into contact are respectively provided with the freely rotatable pressure contact rings 13, 14 to energize the wire W in the X1 , X2 directions. As a result, the mass production of the heat treated wires having uniform and high quality is made possible and the wire of a low running cost is obtd.</p> |
