<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject low-bulky stock useful for producing various containers, cushioning materials, etc., according as necessary, consisting of a kneaded, pressurized and heat-treated product comprising each specified amount of starch, polyvinyl alcohol, a foam regulator, an auxiliary additive and water. CONSTITUTION: This stock is a kneaded, pressurized and heat-treated product comprising (A) 50-80 pts.wt. of starch, (B) 10-20 pts.wt. of polyvinyl alcohol, (C) 0-2 pts.wt. of a foam regulator (pref. at least one kind selected from calcium carbonate, eggshell powder, seashell powder and tale), (D) 0-10 pts.wt. of an auxiliary additive (pref. at least one kind selected from vegetable oil-and-fat, rice wine lees, gluten and soybean proteins), and (E) 10-18 pts.wt. of water. This stock is obtained by adding 20-100 pts.wt. of the component E to a mixed material prepared by blending 100 pts.wt. of the component A with 10-50 pts.wt. of the component B, 0-10 pts.wt. of the component C and 0-50 pts.wt. of the component D, and then kneading the resultant mixture.</p> |
